Like I said the other million times you can’t say future is bright if they get the 4th pick but at 9 future is ruined until 2031. You’re talking in circles. You have no idea what the future entails and if you do play the lotto.

I never said the 9th pick can't be good. Like I stated before a 1-4 pick is better than a 9th. However, it's possible for the 9+ to turn out better, but hitting on those is far more rare. That's why 1-4 are the blue chippers even in a "deep draft" Not sure why you can't understand this simple logic.

AJ is the best player in this draft. Similar skill set as Flagg. You believe because he’s the 1st pick he’d make the Mavs better. But if the Mavs get a 2 guard who can create their own shot and others that impact would be similar to what a guy like AJ has playing next to Flagg.

Makel Brown would be a better pick for Mavs than Boozer would here.

Flagg has a chance to be a 25-30 point a game scorer and an all nba defender. Guys easy to build around.

You still need the assets to build. Mavs don't have the same assets they did when Luka played for the Mavs.

AJ is the best player in this draft. Similar skill set as Flagg. You believe because he’s the 1st pick he’d make the Mavs better. But if the Mavs get a 2 guard who can create their own shot and others that impact would be similar to what a guy like AJ has playing next to Flagg.

If the FO thought someone like Boozer wasn't the right fit I'm sure they would have looked at one of the other top picks or traded down ( Yes, having a top 4 pick you can trade down and pick the player you want and that actually adds more value to the pick. Wow, that's amazing throught.

FA isn't a for sure thing. Got to ask, what players will be out there, how much are they asking for, will they want to play for Dallas? ( A team that has shown it's willing to screw over their best players) while not asking for much in return along with a team that's yet to contend.

It's called "realism." I want to see the Mavs do well, but I'm a realist to how this will probably turn out. With Flagg they will eventually be a playoff team, but how long and when is another thing. I just can't see them breaking through for at least another 4-5 years. I'm sure the new FO will do a good job, but they are still going to be limited by what the previous FO did to the team. That's just nothing but facts, not doom and gloom.

You don't trade your best player for scraps then trade that player away for nothing. Nico legacy with the Mavs will always be a horrible one no matter what happens in the future.

I didn't agree with how it was handled and I'm sure someone like Uijiri would have handled it way better.
