Interesting but honestly underwhelming unless there is more. Mobley have a very attractive skill set, but he is also a guy who may never max out. At 25 there is still time for that. I dont like him for $50m+ a year though

This is the problem when you trade stars. Realistically, what player is Brown worth?

Brown proved he can carry a team last year. Clearly. But what player represents equal value? I think if they could have landed Giannis, it would have been close in value for both teams…. But Milwaukee wants a rebuild, so Miami’s package was more attractive.

Who do you trade for to get roughly the same talent back? Because I can’t imagine Boston wanting just picks and doing a rebuild while Tatum is in his prime.

Minnesota isn’t interested in trading Edwards and Edwards hasn’t indicated any interest in wanting out.

I think it’s a tough position to be in for your team, unfortunately.

In a trade this, ideally Boston would get a couple picks with Mobley . With 27m TPE, that gives them resources to go after a Trey Murphy with spreading your assets thin
