2025-26 NBA Season

I think I see Masai vision now. He's not going to open the pocket book unless he feels like it's a team that will be able to eventually compete with the Spurs and OKC. This isn't a sprint its a marathon. OKC and Spurs will be relevant for many years to come

Lakers are taking the opposite approach by flooding the FA pool, but it's not going to be good enough to overtake the Spurs/OKC

That’s a very solid signing.

Still want to see what happens with Brown.
Per Shams there has been a good amount of engagement. Of the deals Ive heard, the Portland one seems like the best for us. If we can pull Milwaukee pick swaps, that could be a win/win/win trade

I think they are banking on Doncic making players better, and I dont think its going to work. LA's team building since winning in 2020 has been pretty slapdash. Its basically "lets get some bro's"

Problem with Luka is that he requires a specific team to function. It took the Mavs 4-5 years to get that done.

The Lakers aren't even on the same page with getting that done.
