2025 Draft Class, things I liked, things I didn't!

I’ve been watching Williams for a while.

He isn’t.

And he won’t be.

Denver let him go and replaced him because of that.

I think it was more so injury related…but agree to disagree.

Can’t disagree. I do wonder if Mazi and Guyton hurt the possibility of drafting Grant or Nolen.

Gosh man if we passed on a top DT talent bc of Mazi…woof.

I absolutely loved Nolen. Monster against the run and good pass rusher with traits to be great. I just don’t know if the off the field stuff was legit.

If he was clean I would’ve taken him 10 times out of 10 over a freaking Guard.

The recent success at cornerback has been strong and successful.

Is that developmental ability still present? Or has that been compromised with the departure of the quality secondary Coach just departed?

I absolutely loved Nolen. Monster against the run and good pass rusher with traits to be great. I just don’t know if the off the field stuff was legit.

If he was clean I would’ve taken him 10 times out of 10 over a freaking Guard.

I think they wanted safe because first round guards have better success then first round defensive linemen. I bet Jerry made.the call on this one. I would love to here the audio like we did with Mazi and Bergeron.

I would love to know why they seem like Nolen better than Grant. Keep an eye out for a Pickins trade. I think they can get him for a 2026 4th round pick.

They don’t value NT’s. Pickens is talented by a total head case

Do explain instead of crying. Use point in career and actual ability to conduct a defense. I don't share your tears make up heroe stuff. I simply played football before Viet Nam and served. Kika de la Garza was Senior Senator and head of the Armed Foces Committe...from here in Texas.

I played football myself as well on the hs level and am a former guard and nt. They got rid of DLaw, Golston and Kendricks who were their top run defenders, brought in 2 1st rd busts in Turner, Murray and added a depth linebacker from Chicago that played with Eberflus. Thomas another addition, another 1st rd bust struggles against the run. They waited to late day 3 to do anything to help their run defense in a loaded DT class. Taking a high floor guard at 12 made little to no sense especially they have other options already on the roster.

They say every offseason that they have to fix their run defense, yet they fail to do much of anything. This could have been fixed in this years draft or even in fa. It just appears they have zero plan in place

I would of taken either Harmon or Grant, they both help their run defense day 1 and offer rush potential

I saw highlights of Luther Burden . Man I’m greedy would love to have him in Dallas. Caleb Williams just got a great weapon and a pure Ben Johnson type pick.

As to Dallas the top two picks I really like quite a bit . The rest of the draft is a mixed bag . Jayden Blue can he make you forget Dowdle grinding out almost 1100 yards with an up and down OL last year .

The late RB pick from Clemson the battering ram I think will come in be an excellent short yardage plus pass protect back . I give the class a B . Why trade up for that LB , Eberflus must have seen something ?

Yeah, not sure how you can predict 4 starters and also grade it a C+
