How is Bush going to make them tackle better or not blow assignments in the secondary

well for one by keeping that hapless defense off the field longer.

Mario Williams didn't provide any pressure. 1st pick of the draft, and he couldn't even get 1/2 a sack on old man Brunell. 2 tackles and 1 assist. Excellent choice.

Just read ES. It's almost to precious for words.

"Al Saunders for President"

"Mark Brunnel is still an All-Pro caliber quarterback"

"Brandon Lloyd is money. Get it anywhere near him and he is money."

"CP is the greatest runningback ever."

I did read ES & I also saw these quotes....

"If you honestly expect anyone to hit a 180 about their feelings towards Brunell's play after an "incredible" record performance, you're crazy. Throwing 5-yard passes all day will make any QB's rating go through the roof. That kind of play calling will NOT work against a team like the Jags. If Brunell can show that he can play like he did during his peak of last season, against the Jags, THEN you can bring this up again. Until then nothing has changed except we won a game."

"Brunell cannot throw the ball past 15 yards effectively. I could have broken that completion record myself today."

"The short stuff isnt going to work like it did today. If we have to rely on the short stuff next week Donavan Darius will destroy us."

"The fact is, there's a reason why the types of passes Brunell was throwing today are called "high completion percentage" passes...because any mope with half an arm is supposed to complete those and will do so almost all of the time. Real QBs can make all the throws."

"Brunell played the entire game with training wheels on. The only thing they've done by doing this is delay the inevitable.
Sure, he went out there and went 22/22, but does anyone think he can bring us back from any kind of deficit? And come on...it was the Texans. It's not like that game is going to make the fans at fed ex forget about the 2 losses. If he goes out there and goes back to throwing the ball at the gatorade on 3rd down, then he's not going to get a very warm reception at home.
That win isn't going to somehow magically give his arm +4 strength like in Madden."

That was just on one page. I spent all morning telling everyone how disappointed I was that there wasn't any deep pass plays, that against a good team those plays wouldn't work.

Every team has enthusiastic fans & realistic fans. I'm sure I could go on here & find some pretty ridiculous comments too.

^^^^^^ I agree with this guy.........

A win is a win however it won't help it the jags D-line eats our O-line for lunch like Dallas' did.......and the Jags' line is much better......

Their Offense doesn't scare anyone because they are just average being put in good situations BY the defense.....which in theory is ALL you need to win.....

I'm shocked the line is still only -2.5 Jags.......

Thank you for posting that. I have no idea why many posters on this site seem to think ES is the only fan message board with homers on it. There are quite a few who reside here and they don't even know it.
