Would love to get something for Leary before then.

If building through the draft (pretty much exclusively) is the philosophy of this organization, then getting a pick for Leary should absolutely be what we do.

He is a luxury item who should be kept only on an all-in win now mentality.

The more I think about exactly what this team is doing for both now and the future, the more I become convinced that there is no real plan. No one move is tied into another.

I think this year's OLine tag was about 12 million. Not seeing a difference based on position this year just a general number for OLine.

Seen these numbers three places
Quarterback: $19.953 million/$17.696 million.

Running back: $11.789 million/$9.647 million.

Receiver: $14.599 million/$12.268 million.

Tight end: $9.118 million/$7.713 million.

Offensive line: $13.706 million/$11.902 million.

Defensive end: $15.701 million/$12.734 million.

Defensive tackle: $13.615 million/$10.875 million.

Linebacker: $14.129 million/$11.925 million.

Cornerback: $13.952 million/$11.913 million.

Safety: $10.806 million/$9.116 million.

Kicker/punter: $4.572 million/$4.123 million.

I predict Williams goes on to have a big year and is too expensive to sign. His career then stalls in Jacksonville.

Travis Frederick - Should definitely try to sign him to a long term contract now.
Terrance Williams - Also should try to lock him up now if the price is right, and the price should be decent right now.
Brice Butler - Again, shouldn't cost much to sign him for another 3 years. Try to lock up now.
Gavin Escobar - Same thing, lock him up now. Shouldn't be high.

The rest of them should have their agents begging the Cowboys for a contract extension.

I agree with this list. I would consider bringing back Claiborne as well. Would you consider Carr as a safety?

I was done with Carr and Claiborne two years ago. The only thing that kept Claiborne here was his guaranteed contract and Carr his dead cap hit. I'd rather have two undrafted FAs than Carr and Claiborne. Claiborne didn't even get one FA visit, not one team even called him. Carr would be even more useless as a safety in my opinion. I wish I had something more positive toward these two. But, I've seen enough and can't take any more from those two.

fwell if they have a bad record and changes coaches will give him lots of room to bring in different players he likes.
