Think about what you just said and ask yourself what Romo did for you to even bring that up. The last time Romo was healthy all season, the Cowboys were 12-4 and Romo lead the entire league in QBR rating by over a full 5 points. (Aaron Rodgers in 2nd place at 77.4 to Romo in 1st at 82.62)
I think it's more likely that you're overthinking the situation because the emotion of what's happening on the field is blurring your logic. The league is still learning who Dak is. Don't even think for a second that his tough times aren't coming, because they are. They do for all young QBs.
Mentally Romo is one of the best QBs in the league. To push him aside because of a rookie after 5 after is nuts.
That was 2 years ago ! lol why not go back to 2007?
Romo is not the same guy from 2014 right now, he needs to get in better shape after he heals up proper, and then would need to play
a few games, to ,MAYBE get back to where he was in 2014.
Romo was not good in 2015 at all, the first 2 games he managed 2 fg's in the first half of first 2 games.
In 2nd H of giants game they did score 21, but they had to do that to win after the lousy 1st half.
The miami game he was avg, and took way too many hits, and then the carolina game he was awful .
It wasnt his injury, that is on the non passing arm, it was he hadnt played enough and threw 3 ints, 2 pick six's.
I also think Dak is a better leader, and will get the other players to prepare better, and play harder.
Tony isnt finished and is still one of the better qb,s and I dont think he is that fragile.
But I think
he needs to reinvent himself to fit his age and physical condition.
By that I mean like he has to learn to throw ball away, and pass quicker, to avoid taking so many hits.
Also he really needs to learn how to slide and just go down better, he is awful at doing either.
And he could really learn some things watching dak, that would help him, but I dont think he is doing that.
