Look at the third round. Not a whole lot better.

They’ve done better in the 4th and 5th, but the fourth is now Jerry’s personal play round. Used to be the second but Stephen must have manipulated some power away.
 
This is about league average.

There is really no point in constantly doing this exercise without a comparison to other teams.
 
Define bust. There's a lot of grey area with that label. For me at least. Tony Mandarich is the definition of a bust, imo. DeMarcus Lawrence was not a bust under any definition of the word.
 
Traded a 2nd for a better CB than he could draft in the 2nd and instantly the best CB on this team. How is that bad?
The downside is that you don't get surplus contract value.

With the cap situation right now, though, that's not a big deal.
