If they're just playing cover-3 and 4, sitting over the top, there aren't really any shots to take.

My guess is this will be the recipe for many a team: force Dak to make the quickly timed precision throws in the short to mid range while also trying to shut down Zeke. They will prevent Dak from just lofting the ball deep and letting the likes of Cooper, Gallup, and Lamb run under the ball.

Teams know Dak has issues with quickly reading a defense and making the timed precision throws and they will exploit that.

This was very troubling. Play calling was just drab. Where was pollard in the passing game? Screens? WR screens? Where was the play action?

Pass more on 1st down. most of the 3rd downs were 3rd and 6+.

The run play call on the 3rd down before the 4th down attempt was a terrible decision.

2 dropped passes, a pass deflected at the LOS and a sack contributed to this, so I'm not sure the play calling was entirely to blame. A couple more times the Cowboy O-Line didn't hold up to allow a good chance to throw.

The one pass hit him in the hip. You have to catch that.....or at least see it coming.

Dak gets Cooper laid out on one and hits him in the hip on another one that obviously was not supposed to be thrown to him there. Those are all on Dak!
