I would much rather play 4-3. The 3-4 asks for too many people to be out of position and is susceptible against the run. Imo, a line of ellis, glover, ferg and spears along with nguyen, burnett and ware is better than a line of ellis, ferg ,spears with ware, james, nguyen and burnett. The Ellis stories were courtesy of the drama queen JJT. He has clearly said that he was misquoted.

Glover has said in particular that if the front 3 can hold up against the run then they were going to be able to do unstoppable things.

Additionally, Radiohead's practice report showed Glover playing end. You were making up that Glover cannot play end in the 3-4.

Overall tho this mutiny from Ellis, Glover and the players over the 3-4 where is it?

I am still waiting for some proof that Ware can/will play WLB/SLB in the 4-3. Especially considering he is concerned about learning DE in the 4-3.

Fact is that either scheme you play one of Ellis, Glover, Ware, Spears, or Ferguson is not going to start.

If it were the 4-3 then one of Spears, Ware or Ellis isnt starting.

And I never said that the 4-3 was without merit. And I fully hope that given certain matchups we use it especially to keep the offenses guessing.

That no decision was final, at this time, yet now you have Zimmer saying 34. What's the real truth? I don't know. I will say this though, nobody here know what the real truth is. Not for certain anyway. All very interesting.

ABQ, Tuna used the term 'fall back on' in ref to the 4-3.

He made it sound like the plan was base 3-4 but if the personnel did not fit, he would return to more 4-3.

Certainly it's obvious they are working on installing 'mostly' the 3-4... but the 'fall back' option remains.
