What Kyler does that Dak does not do well is roll away from pressure. He has the speed to force the defense to respect him running the ball. You put him in this offense with Pollard, CD, and this OL? Its pie in the sky but he would kill it.

Being an average QB is OK.
Being average yet asking for an elite pay grade is Not OK, but doesn't hurt;
Agree to sign an average QB with a premium contract is Not OK;
Agree to sign an average QB with a premium contract, with a huge guaranteed sum and the no-trade clause is Not OK;

I've said he's good but not elite. He'll be ranked around 10th-best in the NFL by the experts again this offseason, which is where he deserves to be ranked. I've never once pretended he's on Mahomes' level.

We literally have to find ways to have him do less because if we ask him to do more he can’t do it.

Now we’re locked into mediocrity just like I said we would be with no chance of Super Bowl success.
