Age is an issue but honestly, I am not sure that it would factor into a deal with the Cowboys. I mean, if you gave him a two year deal with a one year club option, I see him easily seeing the end of that deal and what's more, that kinda gives you time to develop your young guy. I don't see him having issues with a new team though. I mean, when Brady had somebody to through to, he was lighting it up. He kinda went in the toilet when he lost all of his receivers so it's really hard to sell the idea that he would not be able to produce in our offense. Brady still has a quick release, he still knows how to throw guys open and he can still read a defense better then anybody in the game.
Young QBs, IMO, are effected much more by the circumstances they get drafted into, then anything else IMO. Yeah, there are Gabbarts and Lockers but there are examples of Brady's and Dak's as well. I mean, we've already shown that we can take a young QB and develop them into a successful product. We are actually built for that IMO. We just hired a Coach who is supposed to be one of the games very best at developing Young QBs in McCarthy. I think the chances are pretty decent that if we draft a good prospect, we can develop them and turn them into a successful player. I'm not nearly as afraid of that as others.
