I wanted St. Brown ND WR but I've followed Gallup since I started looking at this year's draft. Early on some had him in the bottom of the first and more in the 2nd. He's not a #1 type of receiver but he is a good #2-3 WR. I don't know where we're going to put all these people.

Brown, Noah WR 6-2 222 22 Coaches like+ him. Metrics=Dez. Blocks. Still bubble
Cannon, KD WR 6-0 182 22 PS/cut
Gallup, Michael WR 6-1 198 21* #2-3
Hurns, Allen WR 6-3 201 26* #1
Lenoir, Lance WR 6-0 201 23 PS/cut
Switzer, Ryan WR 5-10 181 23 bubble
Thompson, Deonte WR 6-0 204 29 bubble
Williams, Terrance WR 6-2 210 28 #2-3
Beasley, Cole WR 5-8 180 29* SL

#5 ?#6 will depend on talent, trust, STs, and other intangibles

If St Brown falls I'd draft him as a hybrid TE. At 6-4+ and 4.50 he's perfect for the job.

Yay!
Sounds like a guy to compete, and probably surpass, Williams for a starting spot. An actual route runner!

Could be a very different Cowboys offense.

I have a thread about going 3 wide with Beasley as our base, now that Witten is gone.

Dez Williams Witten
vs.
Hurns Gallup Beasley

I see a *lot* more separation, quickness off the snap, and getting open early.

Much harder to press man these guys and not get hurt by it.

Nice post. With the last couple years I would have a difficult time not picking option #2.

I wonder if theyll dangle Beasley as trade bait.

I'm thinking if a guy gets nicked in camp theyll likely move him to PUP or something pretty quickly

I like the pick. I really hope he beats out Williams for that #2 spot.

I think Gallup will learn a lot from our new WR’s coach. I can only have confidence in the player if I have confidence in the coaches that can utilize all that talent.

Very good pick! This kids runs good routes and catches the ball with his hands. His pro day workout showed his speed 4.4 40 yard dash.

I actually didn't like his tape against Bama but that doesn't mean I don't like the player.

log jam at wr. Hurns, Gallop, Beas, Williams, Switz, Thompson, Brown, KD Cannon. Im sure starters going to be Hurns, williams and beas for atleast the first half of the season unless williams or Beas gets traded or released.
Two of those are gone. Hurns, Switzer and Brown are the three I think are safe. Williams most likely stays this season and we just signed Thompson. That leaves Cannon and Beasley
