I'd keep an eye on Julius Peppers. Old as dirt but a freak athlete. He'll give you a good number of quality snaps in a game in a rotation. Might be reasonably affordable.

I really had a problem with his penalties they were very superficial calls IMO. Similar to the holding call that negated Zeke's 42 yard run. The vikes have a great defense no need for the refs to augment their talent.

the penaltys were mostly bad calls, not only did they call some that you could barely see why they called the penalty,
they let others go with no call that were obvious penaltys!

this was for both teams, so I dont know what the deal was, but both teams got bad penaltys and then no calls,on obvious ones.

it was like the refs were told to keep the game close .

This is exactly the sort of guy I think we should look at. Could he have had an impact on that last drive?

People are gonna freak out when we don't take a de in the first rnd but that's what I expect to happen. If I was guessing today just based on where players look like they will go, I would bet on a CB or wr there. That's where the talent looks like it will be at the bottom of the round and they have been pretty good at going bpa lately

Yeah I still don't see why people think we can just force a pick in the draft, the draft should always be about the best available player.

Looking into the draft, there might be one DE left of the top guys when we pick, but we can't reach if none are there. I'd rather have the best of another position than reach for someone. We have a huge hole at DE, and really it needs to be filled in free agency, by any means necessary. It would be great to get a player in free agency at every level of the D, if possible.

Unless they want to end up with Carver, Ekuban, and such.....please stop with all the draft a DE or bust talk.
