This is not what I would do but what I think the team will do connecting dots on the first two picks.

1) Jaycee Horn CB (even if Surtain is on the board)

2) Jevon Holland FS (could go in 1).

3a) James Hudson OT (please be there)

3b) Payton Turner DE (please be there)

4a) Tommy Togiai DT

4b) Anthony Hitchens Part II

I like it. Im split on Horn/Surtain. Don't think that Togiai lasts that long, but who knows? The big question is who is your AH pt 2?

3b and 4a won’t be there at those positions

once again ignoring the trenches

I'd feel better about the first two picks if they'd go Togiai and Shelvin/Wilson in the third to fix our DL problem. Much greater present need, plus I don't think Togiai makes it to the fourth round.

Yes, I definitely ignored the trenches by going Hudson, Togiai, and Taylor.

You picked them so low that they won’t be available at those picks

you are making the same mistake our FO makes which is to say that trenches are important yet assign the premium picks to the secondary and not get the better players in front 7 and pick the left over garbage like Hill and then wonder why our defense sucks

PICK FRONT 7 PLAYERS AT THE TOP OF THE DRAFT

You mean they won’t be there like Lamb at 17 or Diggs at 51?

Which front 7 players do you have graded higher than Horn and Surtain?

My own preference would be to trade down but if we’re playing the grading game then why didn’t you pick Smith or Waddle because one of them will be definitely available at 9 and they’re both graded higher than either CB?

Then please select one of them above the CB or admit that this has little to do with the grading and more to do with the idiotic idea that CB are more important

and I’d take Parsons over either of them

BPA is never purely BPA. It’s always BPA at position of need and position value does come into play. Last year Lamb was a position of need because without him some guy named Cedric Wilson would have been our slot receiver and Gallup will be gone soon. Why not take one or the receivers at 10? There is such thing as too much at one position.

If CB’s were the highest graded players at our first 4 picks would you take 4 CB’s?

so you’re taking the “highest graded player” as long as it is a CB?

like I said, the way to really impact this defense is by picking DL, FS and LB high not CB

paying lip service to DL by projecting them in your draft just to make it seem like you’re addressing that position where they actually will not be available is a recipe for mediocrity

like I said, I’m taking Parsons all day over either CB

I can see that we’re on different sides of this issue so agree to disagree

It appears you didn’t read the original post first of all.

Which FS and DL do you have graded top 10?

why are you leaving out Parsons?
Doesnt fit your agenda ?

What’s my agenda?

I like Parsons a lot but he has multiple off the field/character issues.

Please explain what my agenda is cuz I despise the idea of taking a CB top 10 this year.

RIF.
