I would save money and re-sign Claiborne now. Then I'd re-sign church and let go Carr go unless he signs for vet min

I would franchise Claiborne and see if he can do it/stay healthy two years in a row. With OScan and Brown, I would not re-sign Carr. Time to move on from that mistake. I would re-sign Church if reasonable. If he wants too much, we can find a decent SS. Goodbye Wilcox, hello Frazier (or another backup FS).

The franchise tag for a cornerback was $13.95 million for 2016.

That's a decent sized hit for the team to take.

I agree. No way you franchise him, especially with Romo still on the books. While I expect a market for him, nothing in the range that would justify that.

Claiborne may be playing better, but to franchise him for that kind of money would be totally irresponsible.
