On a similar note, my biggest complaint about the new place is the PA system. It echoes so bad in there and it's so hard to understand that it mainly just hurts my ears. Maybe it's better in the lower levels, but up in the 400s, it sucked.

It's good in the 300 level. Clear and not too loud. Maybe slightly but not annoying.

3. I was under the impression it was the same one, I certainly haven't noticed a big enough difference to care. Seems like tedious nit-picking.

I was in the 400 level (last row in the stadium!) and had no issues. In fact, we couldn't even hear the PA system because the fans were so loud.

heres a little story about the flags, a lot of folks in the area were upset
at Jerry last week after a couple of high school playoff games were played there and the folks didnt have a real flag to salute.

Not to complain on Thanksgiving weekend, but...

Four things in particular about the stadium are highly annoying to me...maybe someone else has noticed these...maybe I'm just a goof:

1) The banners won't fit in the stadium??? Really, Jerry??? Hang the banners already.

2) No American flag either? What is this, Russia???

3) A billion plus dollar stadium and you couldn't get a bigger star than that?? I think it is the smallest logo in the NFL - at least four yards smaller than the previous one. Very disappointing...

4) The star is not centered...anyone notice that?

anyway, that's it...

1. i would like the banners in there, even if they are replicas and the originals are in the not yet built hall of fame

2. there is always a color guard at a Cowboys game, and often a flag big enough to cover the field.

3. the size of the star ?? really ?

Looks to be identical from those pictures.

Maybe it just looks smaller now because the stadium itself is so much bigger.

The new color is definitely much better.

I think the Star is centered.. I just looked at some pics I took from the Commanders game.. It's just "bottom heavy looking".. LOL.. Because the bottom of the star has 2 extensions and the top only has 1.. :starspin

The darker color might also make the star look smaller.. I also think its the same size..

If the new one is smaller, it's not by much.

It's an optical illusion. Using both 49-yard line hashmarks located beneath both sets of stars as a point of reference allows for accurate comparisons.

I didn't realize there was a big hullabaloo about the american flag not being in the stadium until I was reading a blog. I didn't even notice. Plus, since they had them all over the stadium grounds, I didn't see the gripe. Two days after reading the article, there was a blurb about flags being hung.

Jazzcat mentioned it, but I wanted to piggyback on what he said about the banners going up in the Cowboys HOF instead of the stadium. A compromise could be having banners in both the stadium and the HOF.

I think the reason there aren't more banners is it's more about the fan viewing experience.

yeah the flag deal got big and at first jerry said he wasnt going to hang one inside but he realized he was fighting a losing battle and hung one on each end.
if enough people fuss about the banners he may change his mind about not putting them up also.
i like where he put the flags and could see the banners in that same area.

sigh...

if you had read the news stories on the flags you would know that it was the fans...ahem...complaints....that apparently caused Jerry to put in the flags (which by the way, weren't there the last time I was at the stadium).

Just because it is the best stadium ever doesn't mean we can't make observations or wish for improvements....

When I went on a tour I asked about the banners they said they are still doing alot of work on the stadium and have cranes in there once it's all done they will but them up
