4 stadium gripes...

Whitney Houston........hasn't been topped, IMO.

Am I alone in thinking that "famous" rendition was horrid?

The fact that there were flags outside the stadium should have placated the complainers. If there was a US flag prominently displayed inside Texas Stadium, I don't remember seeing it during the telecasts.

i knew there was some there but couldnt remember where. i think it was the same at each end of the field but i couldnt have told you that until i went and looked at some old pics. this was first pic i found. not exactly prominent but easy enough to see. i always just look at the color guard.

I thought the military guy last week did a fine job. The country singer the week before was not good.

It was alright. BJ Thomas did a pretty boring generic version.

By the way, BJ Thomas sings the anthem at Dallas stars games alot, I am not sure what the number is but they have never lost when he has done it. The cowboys didnt lose either.

All my life of attending sporting events I have almost never heard a white guy's version I liked!!!!!!!!!!

now kris kristopherson sang either last year or in 07 at the stadium and it was pretty good and Crazy Ted nugent played it on his guitar before the giants game last year and it was great....outside of those...white guys usually suck big time.

Whitney's is my favorite. It was a bummer to learn years later she lip synched it but whatever.

Kelly clarkson sang the anthem in 06 and it was outstanding. Parcells went over and High fived her!! I cant remember but I think that might have been the colts game....
