Do you even realise that Minnesota had AP and nothing else on offense?

Minnesota QBs had a QB rating of 76. Not QBR but standard rating. That is horrible.

Romo's rating was 20 points higher.

Peterson with this OL smashes Eric Dickersons record.

I showed that his numbers from 2013 did not support that claim and that Murray put up very similar numbers, if not better.

You can downplay the stats all you want, but they represent what actually happened, not what should have or could have happened

I just want a team friendly deal and I don't think DM or AP are willing to do that. So I say, neither. Sign Ingram or draft a guy.

Peterson has been the best RB in the NFL since he came into the league. Dont read too much into stats.

No he doesn't. JJones said he isn't gonna give the rb's next year the workload Murray had last year. Gonna spread it around more.

I do not understand the mindset that if AP becomes free ...... that the Cowboys will be the only team interested.

Same guys saying we can get him cheap ..... are the same ones saying he is the best RB in the league.

This is wishful thinking on a gigantic scale.

(not to mention the cutting of a 4 year old with a switch that was still bleeding a week later)

The OP posits a theory of a 400 carry running back and suggests this is the lynch pin to move away from Murray.

How convenient it is to leave out that Peterson has well over twice the carries in what amounts to a little under twice the time in the league.

Peterson - 2054 carries in 104 games
Murray - 934 in 53 games

One man is four years older with over twice the wear, fumbles at a greater rate, and has been sidelined to a degree higher than Murray for injury, and has off field issues.

I can see the desire to sign this guy now. What was I thinking?

I may be by myself on this, but DM did a lot this year behind that line. He is not AD in any form and to compare the 2 is redic. DM is good but not Peterson.. AD behind that line and the coverage Dez is gonna bring he would be unstoppable. Jmo
