Have you seen them this preseason? They have been about as bad as us. And they have injury and suspension issues as well.

A 5pt favorite on the road is quite a bit in the NFL. Vegas really thinks our defense is going to be very bad.

I would think that game 1 point spreads are primarily based on the previous season. It's really difficult to know how teams really look until they've played a real game.
