Brown lasted 2 weeks with the Steelers and about a week with the Niners.

I feel bad for him. He was poised to get a decent contract before he blew out his knee.
Dude....he was absolute dog crap that you would pick out of your shoe with a stick. He was that bad....

Not interested unless he is being dumped on PS. I would rather Byron Jones, or just sticking with what they have already.

They let him go because they will throw to his side during week five, if Dallas signs him.

Sure, he's a FA, so sign him the the PS and play the wait and see game to see if we need him.

He was hurt.
Yup. Not fair at all on AB.

AB's superpower was always speed. Heard on more than one player interview the last few years that AB was the fastest guy on the team.

That injury negates all of that.

I’d argue Brown was a better (and more productive) NFL corner than Mo Claiborne ever was.

Brown was/is a better player than he is usually given credit for but I still think Mo was the superior player and the numbers bear that out. Brown was targeted 3.5 times as often and gave up more than 4X as many TDs. He also gave up a significantly higher passer rating and completion percentage. Still I think people like to dawg out both guys more than they deserved.. but this fan base is spoiled as hell and tends to do that.

I wonder if they paid him like 20 mil under the table to be a mole.... then "cut him" knowing we'd sign him....at which point he'll feed everyone at Dallas false information and intentionally get scorched for 200 yds when we at SF.

We're getting screwed again.

Claiborne did not live up to being a top 10 pick. That is all that matters to me.

PFR.com doesn’t have advanced metric stats before 2018, which is why the numbers are grossly skewed.
