That fade pass to Keyshawn was awful.
I hate that play... always have.

Thank you...I was waiting for someone to say something about it.

The 3rd down plan was terrible. I would have rather seen them run Jones twice.

your recollection would be wrong then...the first down marker was just outside the goalline...Glenn probably wouldnt have made the first even if he had been able to make the catch

David

That is correct. The first down was NOT the 1 yard line - it was clearly inside the 1 yard line and no, he wouldn't have had the first down even if he did catch the ball.

Why chance it to begin with - it's ri-damn-diculous.

........witten was open

Yes Witten was open as was Glenn, had Drew gone to Witten we don't know if Witten would have scored.

I rewatched it also.
He was never going to make the 1st down or the TD. He also dropped a ball which was no more than a moderately difficult catch. Bledsoe delivered it low and behind TG and he had to move away from the goal line to get it. The larger error was throwing it to TG in the first place, and allowing no option to the other side. It was a play call error all the way.

Yes - the 3 step forced a quick read and he was under a tad of upfront pressure.

He drops 5 steps he's past the upfront pressure and can make the read back to Witten if need be.

If there was ever a time I actually wanted him to pat the ball and look around, that play was it.

i agree that if bledsoe makes a better pass meaning in terry's chest, we get the first or TD. he would have been in the end zone, or inches away .
