Jeff Smith wrote an article on Cheat Sheet Sports about what NFL teams can start 5-0. He thought the teams that could do this would be the Cowboys, Colts, Raiders, Cards, And the Seahawks. Believes the toughest game for the Cowboys during that stretch might be the Bengals. Believes the Cowboys will beat the Giants because they always play them tough. The only blemish might be losing to the Commanders if you believe the hype around the team said Smith. It is one guys opinion. I say we go 4-1.

Well if that happened we would have people on this board already buying superbowl tickets.

I'm just hoping for 3-2, then hopefully a run after that with Gregory and DLaw back.

But much stranger things have happened, this is the time to dream about it when everyone in the league is undefeated.

I wouldn't write off the idea but I'm also well grounded enough to know that the odds against ANY team starting 5-0 are long regardless of schedule.

If I was put in a buy or sell situation, I would sell but, I do think that we'll get off to a strong start.

A multitude of variables render predictions such as that 5-game start little more than offseason candy for suckers, imho.

Bengals is one of the four toughest games on the schedule. You could make an argument for them as the most talented team in the league.
