He has more actual production than D. Washington.
Kuntz and D-Wash have three similarities: Huge frames. Huge tools. Oh, and less-than-exciting receiving production in their college careers.

The one thing Wash has over Kuntz is known blocking skills. Kuntz is utterly hopeless as a blocker. Darnell at least knows how to hit and who to hit. Probably has little better hands and wingspan as well.

The more I chew on this the more I value Kincaid, Mayer, and Laporta. I'm embarrassed I haven't even started to study SDS's Tucker Kraft. A few other guys in the list might be solid, but no needle-movers.

There's a RB who is even more of an oddity and some think he'll be seeing playtime as a rookie.

Ultra quick, fast and hard for defensive players to get visual contact on. 5'6"

too.much.fun.

Not just a joke. He's widely projected as 5th round pick.

You’re spotting him an inch. He measured 5’-5” even at the Combine.

Vaughn is definitely in that Sproles and even Eckler mold.

Kuntz is *very* much a unicorn.

-6'7" yet runs 4.55 40
-40 inch vertical! (Dude can nearly touch top of bball backboard)

At this point very raw. Who knows if he ever grows out of his workout-warrior assessment into a real football player.

This tight end class is good, deep and just damn straight interesting. Kuntz probably ranks 8th.
My problem with Kuntz is he doesn’t look like that kind of athlete on tape…he looks like a baby deer and the opposite of smooth.

Really?

I see the exact opposite when I watch him which is why I’m high on his upside. He looks put together when he moves and the primary thing that jumped out at me.

Same with basketball players, when I watch taller guys the first thing I look at is how they move. It’s what separates guys like Kevin Garnett, Shaq, Durant, from Shawn Bradley or Minute Bol.

To me yes…Mayer for example may not be a burner but you can see his foot and hip quickness on tape that matches up to his rock solid 3 cone.

I’d 100% take a flyer on Kuntz late - he’s just nowhere near the football player that his combine would suggest IMO.

Supposedly they love Downs at 5:8.5 and 171. Besides not even being a speed bump in the run game if they spend high draft capital on him, I will lose my mind.
I've been talking about Downs too. Def would love to have him.

A 6'7'' TE that runs a 4.5 is typical?

His RAS is 10. I'd say that's as a-typical as it gets.

Same for D. Jones.. Abinikanda didn't run at the combine, but looks fast on film.
I thought the question was with regards to players with measurables below the Cowboys preferences.

My point on D.Jones was that he is 374 not 360.
