Role players guys. That means full time starters not included. Surprised how many here do not understand that.

Preston Pearson and Bill Bates are pretty much the ones head and shoulders above everyone else

I thought OP said no Super Stars. My bad. Dennis Thurman was a starter.

Not sure if Marion Barber has been mentioned but prior to becoming the starter in 08 he was an excellent role player. He was great in short yardage/goal line situations and was terrific as a closer late in games. From 05 to 07 as a "backup" he scored 29 TD's and made the Pro Bowl.

I can't believe that it took 4+ posts for someone to mention Bill Bates. Speaking of....Kenny Gant was awesome for the club for a year or two...

Preston Pearson would be at the top of my list. He must have been one of the first "3rd down specialists" ever. His 3rd down conversions were almost automatic sometimes.
