5 Reasons the Dallas Cowboys Are Legitimate Super Bowl Contenders

Heading into Week 5, the Dallas Cowboys are still looking to put their foot on the accelerator. At times the Cowboys have looked like a playoff-contending team while at other times it’s been a day to forget. Even though the Cowboys may have gotten off to a rocky start, there is still hope for America’s team.

Generally, the month of September can be a slow start for several Super Bowl-contending teams as the season has just begun and things are still falling into place. It would be ideal for Dallas to go on a string of wins now despite the schedule featuring some tough teams in the upcoming weeks.

Nevertheless, there are plenty of reasons for the 2023 NFC East Champions to be considered legitimate Super Bowl contenders.

1. Dak Prescott’s Continued Good Form
2. Dallas Cowboys’ Receiving Unit Coming Along
3. Special Teams Play
4. Dallas Cowboys’ Defensive Prowess (with Parsons and Bland)
5. Rookie Center Proving His Worth

I have one reason why we are not contenders. Lack of offensive talent and speed. We don’t have a RB….period. We have only one WR who can make a play. Cooks relies on his experience, but he’s not separating. There’s not a receiver on our team besides Lamb who would be playing for any of our division rivals. The reason our offense is not scoring big points is because we have no run game and no playmakers. The roster is seriously flawed.

Only reason that needs to be listed—

1. If a meteorite strikes the other 49 U.S. states and Dallas is the only team left in the league left standing to be awarded.

Dallas is not winning in any other instance.
Lol! I was thinking along the same lines except it was if the other team's planes go down while crossing the country.

Reason 6: Dallas has a fullback while the rest of the league has moved on from the position.

Edge: Dallas Cowboys

The forty whiners use a fullback as well as 12 other teams. Another example of a fan who just throws crap up against the wall knowing 99% of Zoners will believe it.

If Jerry stopped paying this guy, and the Panthers owner started paying him, he'd prostitoot himself out to the Panthers owner just like he's doing to Jerry, and we'd be reading articles entitled "5 Reasons The Panthers Are SB Contenders"

I like how he ran out of Reasons after 4, and had to put "Rookie Center coming along"

Wow....yeah rookie centers are quite know for catapulting teams into a SB

I’m watching the Lions host the Seahawks and my gosh, our RB room is trash. The RBs tonight are home run hitters, a threat to take it to the house at any time.
Rico isn't trash, but he ain't Gibbs, Walker or Montgomery. He's not Charbonet either for that matter.
