More like a HB who has 209 touches (55, 154) in two years and missed 2 games in those two years due to injury despite limited action. I mean, really, he has hardly seen the field enough to be injured. By comparison, Staley had well over 300 touches (366, 320) each year he started all 16 games for the Eagles.

I would also add that Westbrook has never carried the ball more than 15 times in ANY game during his entire career. The Eagles top three backs combined for an *average* of 21 carries a game last year.

Okay...we have established that he is unproven...So was Ahman Green, look it up there are sooo many similarities with Westbrook and Green. I need to go so I can't do it now.

The jury is still out on Westbrook's durability. There's a reason Philly was interested in Eddie George even before Buckhalter was injured.

Please tell me why you think that Philly would be interested in George? Did you read it in a Dallas article? Does Reid have your home phone number? Was it Jesus?

I heard that George was interested in Philly, but that Philly didn't want him unless he came extremely cheap.

Just because another RB was able to succeed, doesn't mean every one can. Priest holmes was undrafted, does that mean every undrafted guy can be the best RB in the league? No.

The drop strengthens my point rather than weakens it. Small sample sizes don't prove much. No one has "forgotten" that Westbrook was an effective starter. He's been effective, and he's started, but a guy who's never had more than 15 carries in a game is hardly an effective starter.

All I heard (from everyone besides fans) was that there was NO interest.

The Eagles' website reporter, who works with Reid and the team everyday said there was no interest and someone on the radio said that the Eagles called George after he publicly lobied to come here and said "we don't want you". I wouldn't mind having him as a third HB and I wanted him until you signed him, but the Eagles seem to have felt differently.

Not really...I was regretting it more right after it happened, but the more I see of George, the happier I become. Levens should be a better backup.
