Not just red zone difficulty.

Five consecutive first downs inside the 10 without a touchdown.

That's hard to do.
It was 4 actually. 3 of those were 3rd to go from the 10 yardline. NO easy first and goals from inside the 5. On all 4 first down plays we tried to run the ball and got 3 yards or less. On two second downs we had a holding call and a 2 yard loss when the ball was tossed to Lamb. This is where having 3 pro bowlers out on the Oline really hit home.

When you are down there, the better teams are able to punch it in. Cards also did a really good job covering. There was literally no one open down there. A few PI calls in the endzone the refs missed and some bad play calling, a pick, and there you have it.

They need to get their starting OL back. That is going to cure some of the problems. But I also think sometimes near the goal line you need deception to get guys open in the passing game. I don't like fades in the end zone unless you have a guy like Dez. Even then they work 50% of the time. The QB has to be very accurate throwing the ball to a spot and that isn't Dak.
Yet he lead the NFL in tight window throws last year. Another troll falsity blown out of the water.

Terrible efficiency. Bad play calling coupled with some bad reads and some sacks that should not have been taken.

Will give a little leeway from the last game due to injuries, but why are you running the ball so much with 3 backup linemen? Does not makes sense.
Why would passing more with 3 backup OL make more sense?

They had 186 yds on the ground and avged like 5.7 per carry. Seems like it makes a lot of sense.

And the reason Moore is gone has reared its head in LA, situational awareness.

In both the Miami and Tennessee losses there was questionable play calling, especially Tennessee. I saw a breakdown on NFL live plus there are YouTube videos also in the OT loss. Typical Moore, three and out on three passes. The Chargers looked unprepared and disorganized.
Except they are currently number 7 in red zona offense right now. Keep tryin though.

No one is trying anything.

These were national media people that were pointing out the play calling of Moore in the first two games.

That's why he is not here. His play calling in certain points of the game left others asking "why".

LAC could be #1 in the red zone, but that doesn't change the fact that Moore will call for three straight passes when a run is what you need. That's what McCarthy said, that Moore would always be trying to light up the scoreboard instead of calling plays that put the team in a position to win.

Not as unprepared and disorganized as the Cowboys.

Go back and look at the possession LAC had in OT against Tennessee. That is Moore in a nut shell.

Great at scoring points, but has no situational awareness needed to win the close games.

Under a different OC and scheme. You can't really just assume that if he was here, he'd be part of the solution because it's not an apples to oranges comparison. Further, if you look at the Cards game, Zeke's impact given most of the goal to go situations were starting around the 9-10 yard line, would have been mitigated.

The OC is a bigger factor here than a TB.
Zeke had plenty of runs where he busted into the endzone from 10 yards out. The criticism fans had of him were the lack of long runs/big plays. For what he was being paid fans wanted to see long runs from him. The long runs are why fans fell in love with Pollard.

And we've shown we're able to do better without him? lol

I think it's obvious through 3 weeks who the real problems are and Moore was far from being one of the major ones.

We have lots of small Wrs and TE talent is meh. Dak needs a big target. That is why there were rumors of us trying to pry away Kyle Pitts from ATL. The whole league knows Dak doesn’t have a red zone target.

Not only get the starting ol back, but geez, no. 71 was a freaking sieve all day long, on one Pollard run he had the defender directly in front of him and didn't even attempt to chip him or block him. What the heck did he think that defender was there to do? Admire the stadium? Be there in case the Cowboys have a player come off the bench and run a pass route?

Basic football, if you can't do that, you're in the wrong profession...

Repeatedly crying about a former coach no longer on your team is no better than being obsessed over a former girlfriend. It's over; it's time to move on.

McCarthy had Rodgers. I believe it was all Rodgers back then not McCarthy. I'm starting to believe the stories of how lazy Big Mike was. The redzone offense displayed by him was as if somebody didn't take time to really game plan it
