5 Things I'd Like To See Improve As the Season Goes On

Phillips showed some faith in his defense and was wrong. I think the guys were tired, hell they had been on the field most of the day and it showed in the 4th but Phillips felt they could do the job. You want to fault Wade fine we lost and he is fair game but I don't consider the job by Phillips thus far this season as being conservative. In hindsight Phillips said he would have but he went with his gut feeling and came up craps.

Phillips couldn't see that? It was boneheaded at best. Against teams like the Pats (the only true power house we will face) you go all out. We had nothing to lose.

You just said it these other teams are not the Pats so I don't think is going to be a consistent problem. We have faced others who also would use spread formations with no success. So I don't think the Pats showed other teams how to defeat us unless the Pats are going to rent out players.

I haven’t seen a QB and offense play that efficiently in a really long time. On Friday, I said they were going to go three wide and expose our secondary. I don’t know why every team doesn’t do it against us. I understand not all teams have Welker and Moss, but you gotta think some teams would at least try it just to see.
