Butler need to change to another number. 19 =hamstring injuries.

I am intrigued by Wilson. At Minny he made almost every tackle. They were gushing about him in TC and then the season hit and we never really saw him again.

Collins tossed Russell around like a rag doll during camp so it may take him a bit longer...

Also could be shorter if that is true. If it makes him more determined at his craft and he puts his time in the weight room and film study. We can all hope.

Most interested in Irving. Felt since the Saints game he has the potential to be a great player.

Solid read.

I got to meet Brice Butler his first year at USC and followed him after even when he transferred to San Diego State as a graduate transfer. I'm excited about his impact on the team for exactly the same reasons the writer mentioned.

I also think Irving was a steal and love that he can play almost anywhere on the defensive line.

Russell is limited to me. I don't feel he'll be more than a rotational guy who can spell your starters for a few downs. Not excited about him at all.

Wilson seems athletic but also feels like Hitchens, where he's solid enough to play but not really good enough to have an impact. Jury is still out on him for me. If nothing else, he's a solid special teamer and depth guy.

Whitehead seems like a JAG. There's a bunch of guys in the league like him, many that offer more playmaking ability.

Replace "can" with "must", because this team is putting a lot of pressure on them to succeed based on the moves they've made and not made so far.

Love Irving and Wilson, Butler did show flashes but git injured , hopefully a few of those guys turn it up. I believe nirving is a freak talent that can really help this pass rush.
Butler is fast but for some reason always runs out of gas at the ten yard line.

It's the curse of number 19...

Please Brice 18, 16 and 12 are available.

On a side note, I am hopeful for all the list. High hopes for Irving - I think he could be a solid contributor if not better.

Lol this has to be a joke. Atleast wait until we see something in preseason from any of these guys. Lucky is ok but Id rather a better wr/return man.

I liked what I saw from Wilson. He was unfortunate on the spiller thing, but that really wasn't on him. The call and sub was late.

He got benched once Romac came back, and I think he deserved many more snaps after a few of the "off games" Romac had.

Its better to go with underpaid youngsters who are hungry than overpriced vets their original teams no longer wanted.

Lucky and Butler will contribute. Wilson should be a backup perhaps some SPs and hopefully will make another STs ace. IDK about Russell. Irving will contribute.

I suspect two or three will be valuable enough esp Irving. Irving has a chance to shine IMO.

couldn't agree more, I always say, "give me a young guy that will run through brick walls vs. a veteran who wants to get paid"...its all about hunger...
