There goes 75% of our run plays.

Maybe we can do more wildcat crap with Choice running for 1 yard gains. That and the delayed draw are our keys to victory.

dallas moved the ball because romo was so good. unfortunately, it appears he had to be perfect for the cowboys to win this game the way the rest of the team was playing.

Garrett screwed us again!! Look, I know that we only had 45 yards rushing on 23 carries. The problem is the way we run. ONE run from the i-formation? Garrett has NO CLUE how to call on offense. Almost all Cowboy runs today were either delays, tosses or Razorback set. Its frigging ridiculous!! This team should follow the Commanders' lead and strip Garrett of play calling duties and let someone who doesn't have their head up their butt call the offense!!
Don't talk about time of possession either. This was a game just like the last Giants game: a game the Cowboys should have DOMINATED by running the ball and controlling the clock.

Ok, dude. Since you just demonstrated you don't know a damn thing about football, I'll educate you.

The reason why Garrett's run game failed today was because we only ran 1 time from the I-formation. Sorry, I forgot that you're football challenged: The I-formation is when the QB is under center with a fullback directly behind him and the tailback directly behind the fullback. The 1 run from the I today netted 9 yards.

What went wrong today was that Garrett's run calls were otherwise delayed handoff and from the shotgun (he had a couple tosses and Razorback sets each, too). Why that is a problem is that when your running a delayed handoff or from the shotgun, the offensive line basically pass blocks to 'sell' pass to the defense to trick them. So our offensive line was not attacking the defense, but defending against the rush instead. Since our line is not firing off the ball at the snap, it is easier for the Giants defensive line to shoot the gap and meet the running back in the hole. I know this is probably all way over your head, but keep watching football and hopefully someday you'll understand more about the game than we get 6 points for touchdowns and 3 points for field goals.

Defense came up small. Tackling was atrocious. ST gave up a punt return for a TD when it appeared they had the guy hemmed in. OL totally no showed.

This offense is The Definition of Inconsistent. The Reason: Garrett NEVER tries to establish a running game. Until this team comes out and establishes a run, you can expect more inconsistency, another crappy December and a quick exit if the Cowboys are lucky enough to make the playoffs.

For those of you calling for more traditional-based running formations, you do know that our OLine sucks at banging it up the middle? They sucked at it last year, and they suck at it this year, but at least Garrett does it less to minimize the damage. Our OLine is at its best doing sweeps and draw plays. I wish they could just line up and bang it home, but you can only take what you have and that's what they do. Yelling at them to DO IT does not mean they can do it well.
