The Eagles are going to be forced to release him. The weird stat to look for is whose higher on the waiver wire when he is released; Dallas and Denver will be fighting over him and there close in record.

TO will show up to practice when his suspension is up. Eagles will then be forced to cut him. If Dallas signs him it would only cost them about 400,000 since the Eagles already paid most of his contract. After the season is a team option. Its not a bad thing to take a couple of weeks flier. TO would be on his best behavior and he will be motivated. Next up, trying to get home field and a Superbowl run.

I can just see Keyshawn yelling at Bledsoe in one ear and Owens in the other! :D

Could you imagine a QB like Bledsoe having a weapon like TO?!?! That would be ridiculous....but ain't going to happen. This team has enough egos as it is, and we don't need him. What would that say to glenn, keyshawn and PP?

You guys dont think he wouldnt be on his best behavior? For this season he has no choice. Next season is a differnt story but we have the club option.

We're talking about possibly the biggest ego-maniac is the history of Sports. The words "Best" and "Behavior" belong nowhere in the same sentence with that jerk.

Am I the only one who thinks the sky is the limit for this team, without having a T.O.?

In all seriousness, I actually agree that he would be on his best behavior this season. For one thing, he'd have no ax to grind on a new team, no matter what team that is. Second of all, he would be quite conscious of the fact that a league's worth of GM's, head coaches, and pro personnel directors would be watching closely and that there would be big $ on the line for him regarding his next contract.

The same thing the team already says. WIN NOW. The Dallas Cowboys (Jerry Jones) are dedicated to winning and will do a lot to win. If Jerry thinks T.O. can get him another ring, he's proabably already talked to him, or having Irvin do the ground work. It wouldnt surprise me if T.O. ended up here, nor would it bother me......until he started acting like a bonehead, and only if him acting like a bonehead kept us from winning!

This is his best behavior.

Say no to TO.

I hate to say it, but if Key or Glenn went down with an injury about the time TO becomes available I think he could end up in Dallas. Hopefully it would only be for the remainder of the season.

Come closer so I can choke you! :bang2:

You people just don't get it do you? Parcells has built a team of TEAM players and you want to bring in a guy who is anything but that. I have a lot of names for people like you but I will simply say them and refrain from typing them here but you know what they are. :banghead:

I really don't see how they can force Philly to play or release TO. They might be able to shorten the 4 game suspension where he loses $$, but Philly is obligated to pay him the rest of the year even if they cut him. (the vested vertran rule bites TO here). They have no reason to cut him and give him what he want. No one in their right mind would trade anything of value for him, so unless TO offer to buy out his contract, they deactivate him and put him on the shelf for the rest of the year.

I would only hope JJ and the Cowboys organization would have the resolve to do the same in a similar situation if one arises. (it will if we sign TO)
