I'm listening to 610 WIP and the host says that Brian Baldinger and other sources who they say are close to the team has stated that the Eagles believe Kevin Cobb is ready to take over and Donovan McNabb would have to take the Eagles deep into the Playoffs or he will not be back next year.

Awesome. Let them get rid of him. It will be one of the happiest days of my life.

If McNabb leaves the Eagles I will do a dance.

Also I know you guys want to get rid of Flozell but in doing that we basically give Washington a quality offensive tackle because you know that they will get him if we release him.

Bad idea.

Getting rid of a career choke artist might improve the Eagles' chances of actually getting something to put in the trophy case.

The only way it helps is if they learn to run the ball effectively because nobody will run that Offense as good as McNabb and his ability to buy time in the pocket will be gone on top of that.

How awesome would it be if the Cowboys were responsible for Ending McNabb's career in Philly!!!

I'd love to see him wind up in Oakland.

You know who the next person I would like to see go after McNabb is?

David Akers. Send him packing too.

I just heard audio of McNabb on WIP. He is taking a beaten for some of his comments about the younger players.

He is backtracking and saying he would never throw anyone under the bus and that the young guys are needed to win this game.

This would please me to no end. Going to hell like that would be a fitting end to this crumb's career.

wouldn't suprise to see him end up in DC
well if he won 11 games with all the talent and familiarity in Philly...he certainly would not win MORE games in DC which has less talent, and everything would be new for him.

He is easily my least favorite player in the league right now.

do NOT fool yourself....McNabb is a HOFer. In the Super Bowl era the NFC East has been the BEST division and it is not even close. All of the teams in the NFC East have been to the super bowl. All of the teams EXCEPT Philly have won 3+ Super Bowls. To be in the NFC championship game 4 years in a row is no small feat.

Or a mediocre one on his last legs, expecting to be paid like a quality OT.

He's still better than mediocre.

Mediocre is your average Joe Shmo. Hes still above that. He can still pitch shut outs against top D Ends.

Plus he has familiarity with Demarcus Ware which helps him a ton.

If we release him I hope he goes anywhere but Washington.

I agree with McNabb. He wouldn't throw anyone under the bus...............because he would either overthrow or underthrow the bus.
