..the defense seems mortally wounded and that will probably be our downfall.

Of the three games(Chi, GB and Wash), I thought the Chi game was going to be the most difficult to win. GB shouldn't be tough(still think Rodgers will be shut down) since it is at home and Wash has packed it in. They might get up to play us but not this time......they are finished.

We are now in must win games because I don't think Philly loses another leading to week 17. If we lay an egg in either of the next two weeks, we are done before that Philly game even arrives.

Even if the last game is for all the marbles, we will probably get trounced, that offense will tear us up.

Good call...............I say Washington as well. With all the drama going on with Shanny benching RG3 and quiting last year and then not quiting because Snyder has to close a relationship with RG3.............its like a soap opera.

With that being said...............Micky today said this defense is Arena league quality...............so I really am not that confident we are going to win any of them remaining games.

I don't see us beating the Skins, especially if RG3 sits. If the Iggles sit their starters, then Vick will be showcasing for another team, so he'll be running like crazy. Another loss.

Honestly, the only game I see us having a shot at is GB, but I know deep down that we are going to blow that one as well.

This team needs either A) a skins on the wall coach and brings an attitude adjustment and a fear factor, or B) A candidate from the college ranks with a proven track record of success at multiple levels of coaching.

And Lovie will NOT provide either. He's another stoic ala Garrett/Wade/Frazier. This team will NOT perform to potential with this approach to coaching, and that is PROVEN.

This team is spoiled rotten and plays like it. It has possibly 3 players with championship mettle. The rest are not necessarily paycheck players, but there is no spine to this club whatsoever and it begins with its current HC, and the players leech off his rhetoric to the point of mimic.

We need a defense though. We've needed this for a while. We've never really had that pass defense you could feel confident in that it would a do a pretty good job game in and game out. We also need to rebuild the entire D-Line because of injuries and age.

The only other candidate I can think of is Ray Horton.

did you watch the game on Monday? not only have we given up so has that putrid defense. You cant win with that crap out there. If they dont get 3 to 4 turnovers a game this team stands no chance of winning against anyone.

actually this game in DC may be the toughest of the three. The two games at home you will see (as Jerry says lol) a different team. These matchups are week to week and I feel confident that the Cowboys win against the Matt Flynn led Packers in 75 degree temp. The game up north may be cold and against a division rival that will make this their super bowl.

No I didn't watch the game on Monday. Of course I did. It is one game. Did you watch the two games before that or the 7 wins we have this season? That would be the better question. We are 7-6 right now with three games left and two home games left against Matt Flynn and the 6-6-1 Packers, Kirk Cousins and the 3-10 Skins and the Eagles who we've already beaten once. So are you guaranteeing we lose all of those games and can't win at least two of those games. We are 5-1 at home this season and two of those remaining games are at home. Stop being a sourpuss and whining about Monday and man up.

I disagree with this. I don't think the team plays like spoiled children. I think that we are just outgunned and outschemed on defense right now. We don't have the men to play good defense and the Tampa 2 is virtually obsolete. I don't think it has anything to do with heart. I also think that Lovie could succeed here. He doesn't have serious skins on the wall like Shanahan did when he was on the market but he did take the Bears to the Super Bowl. Besides, with Shanahan's success or lack thereof in Washington we've seen that a skins on the wall coach doesn't always mean wins.

Nice commentary. The skins are a great example of up and coming to down and out in 1 season.

It does matter who's playing QB. You act like this defense has been lit up by every QB it's played. Contrary to your over the top exaggeration we haven't been lit up by every QB our defense has played this season, these QBs didn't:

RGIII
Eli Manning
Nick Foles
Matt McGloin
Alex Smith
Christian Ponder

If the Cowboys wins on Sunday or win the division please don't come back on here all giddy like you were in all along.

I agree thats why im never to high after a win, im happy we won but its never get to happy.
