It does matter who's playing QB. You act like this defense has been lit up by every QB it's played. Contrary to your over the top exaggeration we haven't been lit up by every QB our defense has played this season, these QBs didn't:

Sam Bradford
RGIII
Eli Manning
Nick Foles
Matt McGloin
Alex Smith
Christian Ponder

If the Cowboys wins on Sunday or win the division please don't come back on here all giddy like you were in all along.

None of those QBs other then Foles has lite anyone up. And Foles was hurt when we played them.

What's it going to be then, eh?

How many consecutive losses would it take for Jerrah to either sell the team or hire a real GM (and actually stay out of his way)?

Whatever number that is I want it to happen.
However many losses it will take to make the team less "relevant".

It took roughly 33 in three years to do it last time Jerry Jones got nervous enough to make some change even close to what you are suggesting.

As long as there is a "chance" and the team is anywhere near being able to qualify for the playoffs, nothing will change.

It will take a massive loss of revenue and exposure for the brand to get his attention again.

This would be wrong. I suggest you go look up the box scores of those QBs. RGIII against the Bears, Smith against the Chargers/ Broncos/Giants, Bradford against the Falcons. I don't give a crap whether Foles was hurt or not. If he was he shouldn't have been playing and that isn't the Cowboys problem that was the Eagles problem.

You are getting off topic here. My point was you act like every QB has been lighting up the Cowboys and I just gave you plenty of examples to the contrary but keep pumping that 'it doesn't matter who we face our defense is going to get lit up' theme.

We need a defense though. We've needed this for a while. We've never really had that pass defense you could feel confident in that it would a do a pretty good job game in and game out. We also need to rebuild the entire D-Line because of injuries and age.

The only other candidate I can think of is Ray Horton.

To me the team can’t achieve a happy balance on either side of the ball.

On defense we either stop the opposition and can’t generate enough turnovers or generate enough turnovers but give up 600 yards.

On offense we can pass but not run or visa versa.

And it’s also hit or miss on special teams.

Who can get us to be decent enough in all areas to be effective as a team?

You can be the greatest head coach in the world, however if you don't have the players that can play at a high level then it doesn't really matter.

Too bad Garrett isn't within eleven light years of the bolded part.
