Shame on me for being shocked to see a thread of people worrying about facing teams we've already beat this year.
This thread was not about being scared of anyone. Nowhere did I suggest being scared of anyone. Don’t put this on me.

Saints almost have no chance. You can all but rule them out. Very small chance

Sea most likely
If sea loses - gb or min has to win out and it’s them

If sea loses and gb/min winner loses next week - it’s back to Seattle if they beat az.
Seattle losing today opens things up a bit
If they lose at Arizona--certainly possible--it's any of Packers, Vikings, Rams, or Saints
Crazy ending

On the flip side: Jared Goff Revenge Bowl?
This.
Stafford wanted to be traded, so no revenge for him. Plus he got final say no matter what with the Super Bowl win.

But Goff got punted. Lucky for him the Lions got a ton of picks and were already building a decent team.
Worked out for both players.

Would be a fun game.

So they already updated the standings showing Seattle 8-8 but still in 7th I guess they have tiebreaker over New Orleans. But tonight Green Bay faces Minnesota and the winner will also be 8-8. Does anyone know who has the tiebreaker between Seattle and Green Bay or Seattle and Minnesota? They don't face each other this season.

They don’t even control their own destiny anymore. Their game vs az may not matter

Well the rams have the 49ers next week… although did the 49ers lock up the 1 seed? Don’t know if it matters to them. I think any team is tough but the rams to me are the toughest opponent

Yep 49ers are locked into #1 seed. They may rest or maybe not because then that'd be 3 weeks from today before their Divisional round game.

How do you figure? Right now they're still shown in 7th in the standings despite being tied with New Orleans. Do they lose tiebreaker to Minnesota or Green Bay winner tonight?

Id venture guys like cmc Debo etc won’t play. Especially cmc who didn’t play second half… but is still going for mvp.

If the Cowboys win next weekend at Commanders to clinch NFC East, their playoff road starts with home game in Wild Card Round and, if they win, another in Divisional Round. They wouldn't meet 49ers until NFC Championship Game in Santa Clara. If another team knocks off 49ers and Cowboys reach conference title game, that, too, will be played in Arlington.
Hopefully, the 49ers rest their players and lose one.

Depends on the Vikings or Packers. If either team wins both tonight and next week, the Seahawks would be out of the playoffs entirely

We would then get either of those teams or the Rams if they lose.
The Rams are in now but could be either 6th or 7th seed

I would say our most likely opponent then is Minnesota. They face Packers at home so I'm just assuming they win because of that, and then they face the Lions next week who probably will have nothing to play for and are locked into the #3 seed. Although if both us and Eagles lose and they win they get the #2 seed so who knows.

If Packers win tonight, they then get Bears at home. Bears and Falcons are actually still not eliminated though but it's a long shot.

Matthew Stafford Revenge Bowl.
Damn that would be a great storyline if that game happens. Stafford trying to extend the Lions playoff misery.

Also Jared Goff revenge game too.

Edit: someone already beat me to it.

Rams 6 seed right now… they lose next week idk what happens.

So looks like we get Seattle minnesota or gb as of now

Of course we need to take care of business in Washington

No rams. They are nightmare. Don’t want Seattle either.
