7 years - it doesn't work

I think we have the most sacks in the NFL for the last 3 seasons. We should not switch the defense. It's not completely broken. Just upgrade few positions.

The best scheme would be to keep the 3-4, get better skill at a few of the positions and find/pay a DC that can actually run the 3-4 and make a top 8 D. Get someone from the Lebeau tree. I would think that would be easier than a full blown conversion and take less time.

We definitely need to upgrade and get younger at ILB. Keith Brooking and Zack Thomos's days are/were over. We need some ILBs to help out this group. But the secondary is screwed from every which way.

And you at least have to fire Campo.

It's not the 3-4 it's the players. The Patriots and Steelers have ran the 3-4 and have walked away with half the decade's championships. So you just can't say the 3-4 doesn't work.

Besides, our defense has been ranked among the league leaders for most of those 7 years.

This thread is so funny.

For once I agree with 30Yard, This team is in no way built for a 4-3.
Problem is it was not built for a 3-4 when Bill made the change either.
I agree with Hos, Ware would be set up to fail in a 4-3.

What happened to all of the "talent" ?
Whoever it was that said something about the safeties - You have no clue.
