Album sales and charts, I imagine. Also, probably add in opinions of their peers and technical music experts.

Based on album sales the Ramones would never have made it to the HOF. Music is a tough one I’m thinking.

For sure. I was just transitioning from pop to rock when that first album hit and it is one of the first albums I spent my paper route money on. I agree that if you're going to put Joan Jett in you have to put Boston in. Alice in Chains, as well. "My" R&R HoF would be more exclusive and longevity would be a factor, though.

You might be able to talk me into Boston because of the groundbreaking stuff Scholtz did, though. Maybe.

Ya at the rate they are inducting people wont be long until almost everyone is in. I can't wait, Poison for RRHOF 2029.

The only problem I have with Boston is that, to me, most of their songs sound pretty much the same.

I like Boston, but a truer description of their music was never made.
