8 bands who continue to be snubbed by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

For sure. I was just transitioning from pop to rock when that first album hit and it is one of the first albums I spent my paper route money on. I agree that if you're going to put Joan Jett in you have to put Boston in. Alice in Chains, as well. "My" R&R HoF would be more exclusive and longevity would be a factor, though.

You might be able to talk me into Boston because of the groundbreaking stuff Scholtz did, though. Maybe.
Ya at the rate they are inducting people wont be long until almost everyone is in. I can't wait, Poison for RRHOF 2029.

I never understood why people get mad when other genres get into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Yeah, I get that it's called rock & roll, but rock has always been more than just a sound. It’s a movement, an energy, a rebellion that shaped the future of music. It helped give birth to other genres and inspired countless artists. The Hall of Fame isn’t just about a specific genre; it’s about influence, impact, and legacy. If an artist has shaped music, redefined what’s possible, or inspired generations, they belong there.

The Biggest RRHOF snub is Grand Funk Railroad.
Heavy Metal should have its own HOF

The only other genre's of music that belongs in RRHOF is blues and Motown.
