If you watch the draft "secret audio" videos they do for the picks you'd have seen Jerry tell Taco how hard Jason Garrett went to bat for him to draft him. I've seen all those videos over the years and I've never heard him single out the head coach like that.

So I don't know who else may have been pro Taco but I do know our head coach was.

Almost every predraft ranking had Taco ranked higher than the Cowboys drafted him.

Some had him as a mid 1st rounder.

That's not true. He was a falling prospect that most had in the 2nd round.

Again that's not true. By draft day Taco was a 2nd round projection from most everyone I track. He was a falling prospect as teams questioned his quick twitch.

I think it's too early to call Hill a bust but a lot of people thought he would last until round three. Players we could have taken in the second include Paris Campbell, Taylor Rapp, Juan Thornhill, Dre'mont Jones, Zach Allen, and Andy Isabella. I haven't really been following them to see how they're doing but Zach Allen started and had three solo tackles in his first game.
