9ers @ Eagles Game - Watch Closely...

About what I expected. And I think it's going to continue along these lines. Last week was a fluke, the Niners suck and the Eagles are a top 5 team in the NFL. It's going to be a bloodbath.

9ers come and go with Rattay at QB. He played well, thus the team won.

Let's see how he handles part II.

Moose just stated, it is amazing that the whiners won, because they did not win any of the statistical categories.

Now TO just caught a TD pass from a scrambling McNabb. So now all the "experts" will claim them fixed.

The Niners are getting NO PRESSURE on McNabb whatsoever. If he is contained and forced to throw quick, he is average. The Niners are letting him get out of the pocket and giving him all day to throw. Last week was a fluke for, for both teams.

About time to switch the game on my local telecast. 28-0, barely halfway through the second quarter, Eagles driving in the red zone again. About to go up by five touchdowns

I think anyone predicting the demise of the Eagles after week 1 better think again. Yeah, that would be a good idea.

That game went just about exactly the way I expected it to. The Niners are terrible. We get by the Skins on MNF and we're staring at 3 - 0...

Niners had 7 sacks against the Rams last week and the Eagles OL looked shaky against the Dirty Birds

And McNabb is hurting from the pounding he took last week

The Eagles win but by not as much as some may think

Thats if you expected Philly to reach 100... :banghead:

Philly's MLB Trotter should be back and madder than usual due to the MNF rejection. That should make a big difference...

You got that right!

I thought the igglets wouldn't wake up for a few more weeks....

The Eagles are still the best team in the NFC until somebody really beats them. I hate to let you know, but what the Falcons did against them last week was luck out that usually consistent Akers missed 2 times, or the game is 16-14. Besides for that, not having Trotter hurt them bad. Several of Dunn's big runs looked like Adams was lost out there.

Everyone was overreacting and to quick to say the Eagles are finished. They barely lost to a team that many think will go to the Super Bowl, and that was without their Pro Bowl Middle Linebacker in the middle.

You actually are seeing the Falcons have a let down against the Seahawks. I still say the Eagles are the team to beat and I give the Eagles the edge if they meet the Falcons in the playoffs because it is hard to beat a squad the second time around.

I also think Mcnabb was hurt more than people think as most of his passes were in the dirt, low, or not close to receiver after he came off a stellar passing year last year.

One problem I think we can solve is we can get pressure on Donovan Mcnabb now, or we have the personnell. Against the niners, they didnt get any pressure at all and they play the same scheme as we do on defense.

They were awake in week #1 also -- perhaps the Falcons were more awake!
But one thing is for sure ...our eyes are wide opened now!

I cannot ever bring myself to root for the Whiners. I hope Philly splatters their brains on the goalposts. Even though Philly is in our division, it makes no difference to me.

.

Well - you got your wish.

PT will be in a much better mood this morning I'll bet!

I'm not to shabby, thank you very much! BTW, my commiserations on the MNF game against the Skins. Losing by one-point is terrible. But you'll bounce back!

7 sacks in that game. Daym. I wish we could do that. As long as Mike Zimmer is the DC we will not see our 7th sack until somewhere around games 8 and 10.

Care to have a cup of "I don't know *** I'm talking about", Wolvy??

Seems our Boys have 7 sacks after 2 games...
