A Brandin Cooks stat

Was excited when we signed him as he's another 1k reciever and can stretch the field. However, was never utilized correctly for the majority of the season. MM basically handicapped his abilities.

Why bring someone in when you're just limit what he does best. Makes no sense

2024 is legitimately a wasted season

And depending on how long it takes for this team to find a real franchise qb , it might be several wasted seasons before we have a window of opportunity

So for all of you who claim that we have too many holes to fill, don’t worry, we have plenty of time to fill those holes before we are contenders

I know you feel this way but if this team and front office thinks this way they are sadly mistaken.

Team had 4397 net passing yards last year. 3rd in the NFL and only 117 behind first place Miami. What do you guys want, 6000 yards with multiple 1500 yard receivers?

The receiver group is one of the least of Dallas' issues. The run game is where Dallas' base offense problems start.

Dak didn't start looking his way till halfway thru the season.
- McCarthy did not design, scheme or care to involve Brooks into games ... until the media actually called him out.
And even then, coaches seem to use Brooks as more a possession guy than dangerous vertical guy

- Dak had issues connecting with speedy Brooks in deep fly-go routes - overthrowing him every time .

- Frankly we just flat have not being using Cooks the way he needs to be .... the way he could be. the way he should be.

Because we had this problem with Cooper and Lamb....

Or Cooper and Gallup

It took over half the season for the Cowboys to figure out how to use Cooks.

If he picks up where he left off next year he should get close to or exceed 1000 yards even with Lamb and Ferguson options 1 and 2.

I'd prefer an offense with 3-1000 yard receivers.
One can be a TE. In the 80s, the Chargers had 3-1000 receivers and a 1000 RB in several seasons.
(Unfortunately they also had a crap defense)
