A Changing of the Guard...

I didn't know that Aaron Rodgers had so much loyalty in this forum.

It is his fault. Blitz recognition is the QB's responsibility...and he should have held the ball more securely.

It was 3rd down. He held onto the ball a little extra longer because he knew an incompletion meant the game was over too. No way was Green Bay's D going to stop Arizona from driving down the field.

Get real bro.

Don,

In every single game played there are mistakes made by virtually every player on the field.

Some are noticed for the whole world to see, like Rodgers to end the game.

Many are just as grievous but never talked about because the fan watching on TV (or in the stadium for that matter) doesn't know a mistake was made.

Rodgers was terrific. Albeit a shade less terrific than Warner, but Rodgers will not be remembered for this.

What about pointing out the the GB player who was responsible for picking up the blitzer and didn't?

As the announcers pointed out before the play.

What about the ref that missed the hand to Rodger's face?

Tony Romo's post-season win pct. is better than Aaron Rodgers'.

Just sayin'.

You're kidding right?

Are Cowboy fans so insecure that they have to concoct stuff like this?

why would he be insecure? nothing is concocted. He is dead on with his point.

What about them missing Larry Fitzgerald blatantly running over a DB in the endzone.

I love Rodgers from an NFL fan standpoint, and a playoff debut couldn't have gone much better. But I agree in a sense -- you can't absolve a player from letting the ball come free to lose the game. Does it diminish everything he did? Not at all. But you can't wipe away either.

Still a bad *** QB -- one of the few in the game that I think is on Romo's level.

Rodgers literally carried his team back from 21 points down.

Arizona called a blitz that wasn't picked up by the GB offensive line.

I think you're really reaching for this one.

Accept Romo's bad play for what it was– A bad play, and move on already.

Life's too short.

Romo led the team down the field, got a BS review of the spot that took away a 1st down at the 2 yardline, and then had a seahawks employee slip a brand new, slick, non-rubbed down ball in the game which slipped out of his hans as it would have for almost anyone in that situation. NFL balls from the factory are nearly uncatchable until the clear coat protective layer is rubbed off. It might as well be soaked in motor oil just before the snap. All of this and he gets labled as a choker. Why not Rogers?

Not to mention that the personal foul called against Green Bay was bunk, plus the fact that there was an offensive holding against Arizona that went unnoticed.

Green Bay got screwed by the refs in this one.

Yeah, no kidding.

Was looking more at the last 'Rodgers Biggest Choke In History' play though.

It was unfair and idiotic to label Romo a choker. I've said it all along and am not afraid to puff my chest out on one of the few matters I've been right about concerning this team LOL. Romo was a player who hadn't won a playoff game -- not a player who couldn't.

Rodgers is as well. Wouldn't surprise me to see these two face off in an NFC title game in the near future.

So people are saying that if that would have happened to Tony Romo to end the game ..... the Media would not have made a big deal about it?

Seriously?

Ummm...don't you think it has more to do with not only the Seattle game, but the last couple of season's meltdowns?

I never labeled Romo a choker.

Not everyone did.

I think you missed my point. I'm not talking about the other TDs. I'm talking about how it ended, with a major blunder by Rodgers.

This should replace Romo's bobbled snap against Seattle as the biggest recent blunder in playoff history.
simply put rodgers doesnt play for the cowboys

if it was romo, regardless of how many td he threw if the game ended like that he would be killed for months.

That only gets called if it is the Dallas player that forces the TO.

It is a good non-call IMO. The player clearly went after the ball and any shot to the head was incidental and light and occurred after the fumble.

Hey...can't I come up with a major conspiracy theory too!!!!!
