Whether or not fans wanted to tank had no bearing on the Cowboys final record and draft spot.

No duh. This is a discussion board, ya know? It's not like Jerry roams in here listening to any of our comments. Just saying, it would have best served the team had they tanked since Thanksgiving because after that loss, anyone with an honest mind knew this team was not making the playoffs. Jerry wanted to try to win as many games possible in order to keep filling up home games. He's more concerned about making money. How did that philosophy help the team come draft time?

Warren would cause epic meltdowns here, for that alone I'm in. But seriously, there's been increasing rumblings among the media guys that he would be a good choice especially if wiped out elsewhere.

Who we meet with should start coming out tomorrow, this will tell us where there heads are at.

I don't think he would cause a meltdown actually. There aren't many elite players in this draft. So pick 12 is wide open right now. Usually around this time the board has a favorite, but I haven't seen that yet.

And I doubt this fanbase would hate a playmaking TE who is tough as hell and the top player at his position in the draft.

Mosher, Voch, Broaddus, and Downey believe he is a top 10 player in this draft. I wouldn’t draft him in the second round.
