You are just complicating things. Keep it simple. I would be more for counting TDs as 7 points and doing away with the PAT than doing what you are suggesting. And I am not really for that. Not everything about football has to evolve. Some things can stay the same. That doesn't make it a dumb rule.

I never said it was a dumb rule. Not sure what you are going on about here but I will say this. If this thread is any indication of what people think in the general populous, then it would seem as if that sort of rule change would be accepted well. The game is for the fan. It's not for me and it's not for you, it's for all of us. If it would make the game more popular, then I think it's a good idea.

I don't like the way the game has changed so hard towards offense and the passing game but looks like most fans do. That has certainly complicated things. Should we tell all those people they can't do it because it complicates things more?
