Should be expected that we'd be sloppy, on offense at least because the defense played pretty incredible when you get down to it. It's the first game.

I thought the run game was pretty good, all things considered. The OL did a lot of nice things, not sure if the Giants were keying on the run, but it looked like our run blocking could have been better and the backs did a good job taking what was there outside of a few instances.

Our receivers looked like they were asleep for most of the game. You can't have that many basic mistakes in the passing game. Just elementary football. That's going to be a long day in the film room. It should give them something to prove next week though.

Coming back from a -3 turnover ratio is a miracle. Credit Marinelli and this defense. We're going to be a defense teams fear later in the season.

Lee being Lee. He's only going to get better. Hitchens still going to be a bust guys? Get outta here with that noise.

Dwayne Harris meet Kyle Wilber.

Romo needs a ring or 3.

Randle wasn't great, but he was far from "easy to bring down." There is really no arguing that. He regularly fought off more than one guy with a second effort and got extra yards. He was twisting and turning out of defenders grasps all night. DMac came in and showed a little more pop, but just as advertised the guy has no patience and can't decipher where holes will open. The Giants were loading the box and, although our offensive line looked good, the TE's got whipped regularly on the edges and the backside pursuit by the Giants was strong and disciplined, not allowing much in the way of cut backs. Randle had a better YPC than DMac, the longest run of the night and was above average in blitz pickup. He also had a couple terrific receptions for first downs in the game.

The jury is still our on Michael, obviously, but nothing in last nights game changed Randle's status as the lead runner, ahead of DMac. Anyone saying otherwise is clearly pushing an agenda which nothing on the field backs up.

Randle was average at best. For the most part we had no run game. We had a burst here and there but nothing consistent. That my friend is not going to cut it.

He got 16 carries. He never really had a chance to get into a rhythm. He averaged over 4 yards a carry and was running strong, with great second effort that got him a ton of extra yards. He was a little gun shy on a few runs, but it was the first week.

For reference, Demarco got 22 carries last year in week one. If Randle gets 22, at 4 yards a clip, he would have been right at 95 yards. Not spectacular, but there would be very little complaining. People are examining Randle in vacuum, because of agendas, instead of the game as a whole and all the circumstances.

And anyone saying McFadden looked better has a relatively novice level of knowledge of football.
