I thought this was his second year of playing and could be eligible? I wouldn't think he would come back to LSU for another season if he could go pro?

He has to be three years removed from playing high school. He would have to take the NFL to court like Maurice Clarett did. I don't think he's that hell bent on turning pro.

Well, we may be picking high enough to get a stud RB - Fournette or Henry - and still get a decent WR in the second round. I would like to see Butler get healthy and see the field - we need his speed.

So this is what we need to do? Let the leading rusher in the league go, a guy who we STOLE in the third round, and then draft a running back in the FIRST round a couple of years later? And then hope he is as good as the aforementioned third-round running back? Sweet!

We couldn't afford Murray. It is that simple.

Great OP. I agree on all the individual moves but I don't really put anything on the coaching. That could have been better but the bottom line is that had Romo and Dez been healthy all year we would leading our Division by 3 games and be a team that could go deep in the playoffs.

Agree that the biggest mistake of the offseason wasn't letting DeMarco go but in not bringing in a back that could carry the load. I like what DMC has done recently but if we really had an above average RB we would have a record like 6-5 right now. The lack of a running game put more pressure on the fill in QB, which lead to less time of possession, which make the defense weaker, on and on and on.

Yes sir - just from the eye test what in the world made anybody in the organization feel Randle could be a bell weather back like Murray? His skill set was always closer to Dunbar rather than Murray - but through arrogance based on the offensive line play of last year and a terrible misjudgment of both on field talent and off field character they decided he was the guy.

The other point that just makes you shudder is that they absolutely believed Weeden could step in for a period of time and win. In some organizations that staggering of a miss would be a fireable offense but Jerry Jones in Dallas is like Kurt Russell in Tombstone--

"I don't think I'll let you fire me today."
