a. glenn

well I kinda feel sorry for the guy he was a good player in his prime but is OLD and probally retire either this or next year.

I can understand keeping Reeves over Glenn. That looks like a good move. BUT KEEPING NATE JONES OVER GLENN?

Yeah, that was a remarkably stupid personnel move.

:hammer:

Still agree with you on this one.

No doubt Glenn would of done a better job on Welker two weeks ago then Nate Jones.

Moronic move by Wade.

Well, good for him. I wished we would have cut N. Jones instead of A. Glenn. Glenn can still play.

It was a salary cap move... you guys don't actually think Wade thought more of Nate Jones as a player, do you?

Yeah, we needed that extra $800,000 in cap space.

Some times Jerry is pound foolish. He might have saved Glenn's salary and cost us a TD in NE game.

Although I didn't like Glenn being cut by the Cowboys at the time, I think Wade made the right decision. Glenn doesn't play special teams as Nate does and Glenn was going to limit the playing time of Reeves.

I'm glad to see that Glenn still has it, but he wasn't going to help the 'Boys that much. Parcells called this type of player a 'Progress Stopper', an aging vet who was holding back the progress of younger players.

To keep things in perspective..

Quinn Gray shouldn't be playing QB in the NFL. He is horrible.

Well, to keep this in perspective, Gray didn't throw the INT to his own teammate.

You beat me to it.

Yeah, don't know how that Gray comment effects... anything.

Wrong. Keeping Glenn instead of Jones would have come in REAL handy with TNew and Henry both injured.

Yeah, we needed that extra $800,000 in cap space.
Think it's that simple, do you? I'm amazed NFL teams aren't breaking your door down to get you in their front office, pronto!

Well, yeah, it is that simple.

nm, brain fart there. I guess we should've kept A. Glenn. Way to go, Wade.

Well, yeah, it is that simple.
Haha... I'm sure you think so.

And I'm sure most NFL GMs would NOT pay $800K for an upgrade at their dime (4th) CB slot. Glenn hasn't even been active in most games this year for the Jags.
