Whatever the circumstances, players lost, injuries etc . There is no excuse for the way this team looked . 3 measly points at home?? That is inexcusable.
The defense has done its part. 19 points , an interception, sacks of Brady . So Quinn is not the issue .

You have a decent talent across the board . For Dak and Cee Dee to connect on just 26 yards is inexcusable.
The combination of talent on the passing and the running game should be able to produce much more .
McCarthy being an offensive coach makes this more puzzling . Unless he has been told by Jerry to leave Kellen alone or MM simply let Kellen do what he wants . In this case MM is just the head trainer and not the head coach .
Either way , if MM is that weak , he should not be the head coach and the players won’t respect him. It showed last night .

The smart and intelligent people would understand this post. The dumb and ignorant won't be able to process this because they think football victories and losses are based on one or two players on the team.

There it is!! It was only a matter of time. Since 2000, how many coaches have we had? No matter who's been the coach, we've had the same results. What's been the one constant with this team? That's the change we need.

Agree with the one who said, there is Zach Martin on offense and then a bunch of average talent (though Tyler Smith showed enough promise to be happy with him as the 1st round pick). The core pieces above the age of 26 need to be traded if possible.

The idea that Dak is a pocket passer is laughable. He needs Philly’s oline for him to have the type of success we want. At his best we are an above average mediocre team. Last night is what you get when you give him lots of average players. Kellen is not that good, but coaching is not the only our biggest problem.

It could all be schemed so much better. No Ferguson, No Hendershot and No Turpin. You telling me that someone would actually pay attention to any of these guys out in a route.

with zeke running better than expected and tyler smith holding his ground at left tackle and all the other weapons, 3 points is inexcusable. the defense got tired at the end.

very true. it is the Jerry scheme that is the real issue. coaching , personnel. he is swimming in the pool he built and we are watching.

Jerry knows by now that the fans won't tolerate another bad season or accept just another replacement coach. The issue is Sean Payton will need more control and jerry's ego won't let him admit he needs sean payton . something has got to give.

I think when you look at the offseason objectively, it is hard to fault MM for the lost of talent that occurred. Everyone gets fooled by the hype. "Sam Williams is the next Micah Parsons!" How did Sam do last night? He looked lost and over matched. Do you think they missed Randy Gregory? The truth is they missed all the players they lost last night, except maybe Connor Williams and that is debatable too.

So many times I have heard about how great this guy or that guy looked in preseason then the regular season rolls around the they guy looks like he should have been cut. Stop falling for the hype and look at the players with both eyes open. This team got worse in the offseason and it was not Mike McCarthy's fault. This team has been through how many HCs in the last 26 years? It is always the coach's fault because the players are all all-pros, right?

Forget the stats, look at the game. The Bucs didn't punt until the 3rd quarter last night. They ran for 154 yards. Brady had an off night. The defense got pushed around by a team that reportedly had OL problems like the Cowboys, and they lost their starting LT midway through the game.

I have said it over and over, the Cowboys keep trying to win with the same players they didn't win with the prior year. In 2016, the Cowboys had an awesome offensive line. Since then, the line has deteriorated year over year until we are where we are now. Last year they had a very good WRs group. Now look where they are.

It is not the HCs, it is the guy who puts the players on the roster.

So Quinn is not the issue .
He really kinda is. Our run defense was supposed to be fixed. It simply isn't. You do realize the state of the Bucs Oline was in bad shape and if not for Parsons that 19 points would have been closer to 35. Moore gets roasted and rightfully so but DQ gets a pass? I think not

you may be right. but 19 points and some important stops during the game gave this team a chance to win . 19 points is not bad. but i agree it is not great defense.
