Just like Aikman had All-Stars all around his team, including HOFers? Just like John Elway had All-Stars around him, including HOFers around him? Just like Joe Montana had All-Stars all around him, including a HOF Head Coach/ and HOFers around him? Like that?
. Didn't see a lot of passes from those guys off target and late, and people never had doubts about whether they could make all the NFL throws.

Dak raises those doubts. You also never have the sense that Dak is making those players around him better but in fact the reverse. Cooper comes and suddenly Dak looks like an NFL QB again (though his rating hasn't budged throwing to anyone else). Montana goes to KC and they get to the AFC championship game.

...all that said the Ravens won with Trent Dilfer at QB with a similar formula to what we have this year. We can win it all with Dak -- we really can -- but he isn't a top QB and all these threads trying to prove otherwise are crazy to me. He has franchise QB intangibles paired with marginal accuracy, mechanics, and awareness that wash guys out of this league.

Not true. It means right now, I believe both Elliott and Cooper are better at their individual positions than Dak is at QB. And deserve the cap space prior to him. Quit taking criticism for more than face value.
Your opinion, I'm glad you're not the GM. By the way, the GM says he's signing him so I guess your misery continues.

I don't care what anyone says. I blindly followed another QB on this team for 8 years. What did it get me? Let me think, 3 new TV sets after I put my foot threw three of them. I learned my lesson, never blindly follow. No siree not gonna do it!! Been shined enough!! Bought the whole damned farm and the sheep in the pasture. But seriously, I learned all can be forgiven and deity does exist after football lol.

Will say this to young Mr Prescott, you may never touch the stats, you may never get the blonde bimbo, you may never sign that ginormous other guy albatross contract, heck you my never see Cabo, just take us to the promised land one more time. We been lost sheep (remember I bought the farm) for too many years. 40 days and 40 nights? Boo hoo we been lost sheeps for 20 plus years
I hope those were cheap TV's!

What happened to Aikman when his All-Star crew + coaching left? Can you please enlighten me? You see, teams need players to win. Teams need some type of defense, and some type of receiver or receivers if they're going to be a sling it around QB, and they need protection? And if you do think that the team is winning despite Prescott, we don't need any QB on the team, savings savings!!

I think they're taking the intermediate and long middle away from Dak. He does better short and down the sidelines, and that's where his targets have been going. A throw is simpler in those zones. Fewer defenders to have to take into account.

The INT to Cooper was running across the middle toward other defenders, and Dak just didn't seem to take them into account.

The opposing DBs sit on under 10 yard routes, and predict a non vertical route (for the bulk of coverage based on what I'm seeing). That second interception Dak just sailed it. They don't really take away the deep middle, but you can tell he does not like taking shots there. More risky because there is a greater chance to throw picks there.

Romo had

Terrell Owens
Terry Glenn
Young (uninjured) Dez Bryant
Young Jason Witten

Dak has

Amari Cooper
Rookie Gallup
Overrated Cole Beasley

So in actuality, Dak has one receiver. ONE
You see why he's always throwing to his ONE receiver?

And that same ONE receiver couldn't do much with Carr as his QB.

Waiting for my answer, 13-3...

As long as the Cowboys keep winning I will be happy. You think that Dak is better or equal to Cooper or Elliott at their respective positions? If the answer is yes, I'm glad you aren't the GM.

Weren't you saying that I needed to defend a post about how a subpar (your words) QB took a team to 13-3? Since you invented the subpar rating, why do I need to argue on its behalf?

I'm not going to continue to add to your miserable thread because obviously you want attention and I'm not here to give it to you any longer, but it's obvious when Dak had a better receiver, he instantly became better. Why? Because you need talent to win in the NFL. And that's why Linehan and Garrett's here is because I'm not the GM.

And if you don't think a QB is the most important part of a team, then you're what I suspected, a troll. And since you still aren't answering my question about 13-3, you go on ignore along with the other (near 200 posters). Enjoy your misery, Jerry is signing him. choke on that. haha

That took long enough, I've been trying for the past hour. The QB is usually the most important position with regards to winning divisions and titles.

But each team needs their QB to varying levels. Some teams can go win a Super Bowl with an elite defense and a QB that refuses to force the ball and a decent run game. So can this team. If you think other fans are miserable because they can be happy and critical, I can see why you've had to ban so many. May sunshine and rainbows and the power of positivity be yours. I believe in you, you can do it!

And I still will make comments that include criticism. There is a mixed bag for all kinds of stuff. You are saying the OC is horrible and he was OC when the team went 12-4 and 13-3.

Sounds like it could be worse. Doesn't Elliott lead the league in rushing currently? So the offensive line must not be "horrible." According to next gen stats, Dak holds the ball longer than all but 6 QBs.

What about the scheme is so terrible? Why is Kellen Moore a terrible QB coach? Cole Beasley is a very good slot receiver.

Repeat. I loved the win. I loved how Dak became clutch and started hitting big plays. You can celebrate and criticize at the same time.
Don't waste your time responding to him. It is not worth the effort.

I don't understand the Romo connection. Of course the coach is the play caller and the QB has the option to change the play based on the defense. He wasn't saying Romo never changed the play. He always has changed plays from time to time even under Parcells. I think your taking your hate to an extreme.
Romo was the QB at the time, that's not the point it could have been ANY qb.
